I work with experimental processes using self-foraged local clays. In the last years I collected clays allover the world like my home forests in Germany to London, Paris and Bali. Each place has its own atmosphere, which reveals itself through the material and the characteristics it carries. Through processing and testing the clay, I get closer to its nature and understand what can be done with it. I use it for building as well as surface decoration techniques.

My work shows a dialogue between the material, the story it carries and me, the artist.
